Our Wedding Insurance policy includes cover for cancellation, rearrangement, failure of suppliers, personal and public liability, cover for your wedding attire and rings, all the way down to the finest detail and finishing touches.

Yes. You will be covered for Adverse Weather conditions that are such that they cause major disruption to travel services i.e. rail, road or bus, thus severely affecting the ability of you and/or your Close Relatives to reach the wedding or wedding reception

We can provide you with a Wedding Insurance policy all the way up until a day before your wedding, providing you do not know of any reason that may result in you needing to make a claim prior to your policy purchase.

To determine what level of cover is right for you, it’s important to consider the total cost of your wedding and how much cover you require in the event of unrecoverable cancelation or rearrangement of your wedding.

Yes. As long as the incident that has caused you to lose these deposits hasn’t already occurred, you will be covered for any costs incurred prior to purchasing the insurance. We cover deposits going backward for an unlimited time period, so even if you paid the deposit for your wedding venue or reception three years ago you would be covered.

You should take out your Wedding Insurance policy as early as you can. By purchasing your cover at the earliest opportunity, you are giving yourself the maximum protection against any potential hick ups in the lead up to or on the day of your wedding.

Cover will start as soon as you have made payment and you receive the policy documents.

We will issue your insurance certificate and documents immediately after you have paid for your Wedding Insurance. They will be emailed to you instantly.

All of our Wedding Insurance policies are underwritten by UK General Insurance Ltd.

If you are unhappy with your policy for any reason, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your policy documents and have your full premium refunded providing the Wedding has not taken place and/ or no claims have been made or are pending. Thereafter you may cancel the insurance cover at any time by informing us, however no refund of premium will be payable.

Our policy is designed to cover weddings organised by UK based individuals. Therefore, if you are not based in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer cover.

Unfortunately, not. If you would like to purchase honeymoon travel insurance, please visit our Sports Travel Insurance page, and select your sport type as ‘Travel’.

If you are planning to enjoy your honeymoon to the fullest and do some activities, we can cover a huge range of popular honeymooner’s activities like scuba diving, sea kayaking and event skydiving. 

If you take out our Marquee Cover, we will cover any portable toilet facilities hired to use alongside the Marquee.

We will only cover your wedding planners if the arrangement or contract between you and them is a planning service only. Cover is excluded if the wedding planners are responsible for paying suppliers on your behalf.

Medical complications due to pregnancy will be covered under injury and/or sickness, providing the bride is diagnosed after the purchase of the policy.

Yes. You are covered for up to 2 ceremonies and 2 receptions, providing the date of your reception is within 56 days of the date of your ceremony.

No. The marrying couple must both be a resident in the UK, have been living permanently in the UK for at least six months prior to the purchase of this policy and be registered with a local medical practitioner’

Yes, but when hiring or booking any services for your wedding, you should have a contract or at least some form of written confirmation in place to prove that you have made arrangements. You should also have proof of any payments made.

In the event of a claim, you will need to prove the exchange of agreements or money in order for it to be a valid claim.
