Cover for your Net Loss incurred as the direct and sole result of the unavoidable cancellation, abandonment or postponement of your entire event. Choose from covering yourself for loss of Gross Revenue or Expenses put down for your event. Adverse Weather included for all events as standard.

  • Cover included should the event not only be cancelled but also abandoned, curtailed, interrupted, postponed or relocated.
  • Adverse weather included for all indoor and outdoor events, including those held inside temporary structures.

Public Liability Questions

Please confirm the following assumptions are correct:
  • The event either does not involve any "Dangerous Activities", or if it does, that these are provided, operated or supplied by fully insured bona-fide sub-contractors. Dangerous activities include, but are not limited to: Fireworks, bonfires, pyrotechnical devices, inflatable play equipment, fairground rides or mechanically propelled rides of any kind, ballooning, quad bikes, go-karts or motor sport of any kind, trampolines or gymnastic apparatus of any kind, circus acts or stunt acts, shooting ranges for guns or archery. Please note that bouncy castles, inflatable play equipment, slides, or rides (mechanical or otherwise) which are set up, operated and taken down by a bona-fide sub-contractor who has provided you with evidence of their current public liability insurance shall not be classed as dangerous activities.
  • Proof of insurance has been obtained from any bona-fide sub-contractors who provide, operate or supply any dangerous activities
  • Where there are more than 150 attendees at your event you have carried out and implemented a written and documented risk assessment in respect of the event
  • Where there are more than 150 attendees at your event you have a written health and safety policy that all contractors, exhibitors and suppliers are made aware of and required to comply with
  • Have no assets in the USA
  • All performers, exhibitors, traders, suppliers and contractors are required to have their own liability insurance in place.
  • You have checked contracts when booking venues to ensure we are not accepting responsibility for the negligence of the venue owners.

Employers' Liability Questions

Please confirm the following assumptions are correct:
  • You have carried out and documented a risk assessment and health and safety plan with regards to safety at work for employees in respect of communicable diseases, including but not limited to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • You have steps in place to ensure that you comply with all applicable rules and guidelines for the safety at work of employees in connection with communicable diseases, including any current government rules and guidelines relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • No employees carry out work at height in excess of 5 metres
  • No employees carry out work at depth below 2 metres
  • No employees carry out work involving the application of heat, other than in preparation of food and drink
Do you need to supply an Employer Reference Number?

Unless all of your employees are paid below the PAYE threshold, you will have been supplied an Employer Reference Number (ERN) by HMRC. Businesses are required to provide their ERN when taking out Employers’ Liability insurance.

We will contact you for your ERN shortly after you purchase your policy. If you are unable to supply an ERN within 8 weeks of purchase we may cancel your Employers' Liability insurance

You must contact us with your ERN as soon as HMRC have issued it. If we do not hear from you within 8 weeks of purchase we may cancel your Employer's Liability Insurance

Cancellation Cover Questions

Please confirm the following assumptions are correct:
  • Other than as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, no event to be insured has ever been cancelled or had a loss, whether insured or not
  • All contractual arrangements necessary for the successful fulfilment of the event(s) will be in place and confirmed in writing in a timely and prudent manner, prior to the event start date
  • You are not aware of any fact, issue or circumstance, existing or threatened, which could cause a loss under this policy
Please confirm the following assumptions are correct:
  • The event can proceed in continuous moderate rainfall and wind speeds of up to 30mph/50kmh
  • The venue has no history of flooding or waterlogging
  • Any marquees, staging or temporary structures will be covered on 3 sides and above, with all electrics protected from the weather
  • The event has never been affected by adverse weather and/or ground conditions
  • The grounds at the event venue are currently in a suitable condition to enable the event (and setup thereof) to proceed as planned
  • The event venue has hard standing access roads in and around the venue, including entrances and exits
  • The venue is not within 100 metres of a river, lake, the sea or any other water course
  • You have made suitable contingency plans to ensure the event can continue as far as possible in circumstances of bad weather
