Liability cover for cheerleading clubs
In order to protect your cheerleading club it is important to have comprehensive cheerleading club insurance in place.
Accidents can happen and having Public Liability, which comes as standard on our cheerleading club insurance policies, will cover any legal expenses and subsequent compensation for injuries or damage to third parties which is deemed to be the club’s fault.
It is easy to tailor your policy to suit your club’s needs, just click the link below to get a quote.
What insurance do you need?
You should consider three main aspects when seeking out cheerleading club insurance:
Cheerleading is perhaps one of our highest risk groups when it comes to clubs we cover. Public Liability will cover your club if a member was to injure themselves and suggest the club was to blame. If they opted to sue, this part of your policy ensures that your insurance would take care of the respective defence costs and solicitors fees. If the club was to be found negligent, any settlement will be handled by your insurance too.
If you employ any members of staff, be it voluntary or paid, having Employers’ Liability in place is a legal requirement. It will cover the club if any staff member was injured or suffered property damage as a result of the club’s negligence. As with Public Liability, if the the club is sued, the cost of depending the club and the settlement of the claim will be taken care of by your insurance.
There may not be much in the way of equipment needed when taking part in cheerleading activities, but if you’d like the equipment you do use covered under your policy, we can protect it against damage, loss and theft. Just select the relevant box when completing your quote form.
We offer multiple payment options at Protectivity, so paying for your insurance policy couldn’t be easier.
