What Insurance Do Cheerleading Clubs Need?

It’s important to understand the type of cover you need when running a cheerleading club. Here are the three main aspects to consider:

Public Liability

Cheerleading is perhaps one of our highest risk groups when it comes to clubs we cover. Public Liability will cover your club if a member was to injure themselves and blame the club. If they opted to sue, this part of your policy ensures that your insurance would take care of the respective defence costs and solicitors fees. If the club was to be found negligent, any settlement will be handled by your insurance too.

Employers' Liability

If you employ any members of staff, be it voluntary or paid, having Employers’ Liability in place is a legal requirement. It will cover the club if any staff member was injured or suffered property damage as a result of the club’s negligence. As with Public Liability, if the the club is sued, the cost of depending the club and the settlement of the claim will be taken care of by your insurance.

Equipment Cover
