Public Liability
Public Liability covers the club if a member of the public or the club was to injure themselves and sue the club for the injuries caused. If the club is deemed to be at fault, it could result in having to pay the third party a court settlement. With insurance in place, not only will the settlement be covered, but also the costs associated with defending the club.
Employers' Liability
If you employ staff, be it paid or voluntary, having Employers’ Liability is a legal requirement. Having it in place will cover you if a member of staff injures themselves or suffers property damage as a result of the club’s actions. If they opt to sue the club, as with Public Liability cover, the defence and any settlement costs will be taken care of.
Equipment Cover
The boats and controls used by clubs are fundamental to the operating of the group. With equipment cover in place, you can cover the damage or loss of these specialist items. Should they be damaged or lost, we will handle the cost of either repairing or replacing them.
