Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Will my policy cover XL Bullies?
A. From 31st Dec 2023, we will no longer be able to cover XL Bullies under our Pet Business insurance for our customers based in England and Wales. This is due to their addition to the Dangerous Dogs Act. During this time before the ban is implemented, cover will continue as normal. However, government guidelines must be followed. This means that XL Bullies must be leashed and muzzled when out in public. Failure to follow these procedures will invalidate your insurance. Our customers based in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands will not be affected by this change, unless their respective governments also implement a ban.
Q. What insurance do I need as a dog walker?
