Public Liability and Products Liability are included as standard, with options to add Professional Indemnity, Employers’ Liability, Equipment Cover, Personal Accident, Overseas Extension, and Legal Expenses.
You can tailor your policy to match your work, whether you teach from a studio, a rented space, or on location.

Frequently
Asked Questions
Are portable tools covered when I hold workshops at events or client locations?
Yes—portable tools are covered under the Business Equipment section, even when you take them off-site, such as to events or client premises. They’ll be insured up to the limit you select, provided the damage isn’t due to wear and tear and the item is less than three years old if a new-for-old replacement is required.
Whilst holding a workshop, are my tools and equipment protected?
Tools and equipment can be protected if you include Business Equipment cover. This provides up to £25,000 of cover on a new-for-old basis for items under three years old. If your equipment is damaged and can’t be repaired, it will be replaced with an equivalent new item. However damage caused by wear and tear or harm to electronic data is not covered.
Am I covered by public liability if a client or visitor is injured during a workshop?
Yes. Public Liability covers you if a third party—such as a client or visitor—suffers an injury during your workshop and holds you responsible. Depending on the level you choose, you’ll be covered for claims ranging from £1 million to £5 million.
