Specialist Insurance for Running Clubs
Our policy is designed to financially protect your running club against claims that may arise due to an unfortunate event. The policy includes various cover options including Public Liability insurance.
Public Liability will protect your running club should a member of the public get injured whilst you are conducting your club activities. It will also cover third party property damage.
Should you employ any staff or volunteers then it is likely that you will require Employers’ Liability. You can tailor your policy to include this and other benefits like Equipment Cover.

What Insurance Do Running Clubs Need?
It’s important to understand the type of cover you need when operating a running club. Here are the three main aspects to consider:
If a third party was hurt and blamed the club for the injuries caused, having Public Liability covers the club. Without this in place if the club is deemed to have been negligent, it could result paying an out a court settlement. But with our Running Club Insurance, not only is the settlement covered, but so are the costs associated with defending the club.
If you employ any members of staff, Employers’ Liability is a legal requirement. Having it in place will cover you if a member of staff, be it paid or voluntary, were injured or suffered property damage as a result of the club’s actions. If they opt to sue the club, like with Public Liability cover, the defence and settlement costs will be taken care of.
You can add equipment cover to your insurance policy. This ensures that any items you use to operate your running club are protected if they are damaged or stolen. In either instance we will cover the costs of repairing or replacing the items.
A Policy Tailored To You
We make it easy to pick and choose the level of cover you need to best suit your needs. You can then enjoy complete protection without having to pay for any benefits that aren’t needed or unwanted extras.
