Music Therapy Insurance from £3.65 A Month
Music Therapy as a profession is relatively low risk, however the potential hazards vary according to the type of music experience. Depending on your clients’ needs, they may be involved into composing, performing or responding to music. As a therapist you will not only understand the benefits of these methods, but also the different risks associated with them.
Some of the risks include over-stimulation and confusion. If, for instance, one of your clients has sustained a brain injury or a neurological disorder this could impact their ability to make meaning of sensory input.
