Tailored Insurance for Ultrasound Specialists

As with any treatment programme, there are always risks that something can go wrong. Our Professional Indemnity cover will give you the peace of mind that if, for example, a patient makes a claim that they were injured due to your negligent advice, that you are financially protected from legal action.

Our Ultrasound Insurance includes Public Liability as standard, ensuring that you are protected if a third party sues you because of damage or injury caused during an ultrasound for example. Our policy can also offer protection for your equipment, covering costs if it is accidentally damaged, lost or stolen.

Our comprehensive Ultrasound Insurance can be tailored to fit with your business. So, if you provide Ultrasound treatment alongside other treatment types, a policy can be created to cover all areas and offer you and your business the protection that you deserve.

Why not give us a call to discuss your specific requirements and business needs? Legal costs and compensation claims can escalate quickly so having the protection in place is essential, enabling you to focus on providing treatment for your patients.

What's included in your Ultrasound Insurance policy?

Our Insurance policies include the following benefits as standard:

Public Liability

Ultrasound therapy is becoming more popular to relieve pain and to promote tissue healing. Unfortunately, there is always a risk from injuries or damage to a third party or their property caused by your actions. You can add up to £5 million worth of Public Liability to cover yourself against those and many more cases.

Optional Equipment Cover

All our ultrasound policies can include up to £3,000 worth of equipment cover, protecting you against damage, loss and theft of the tools and supplies that you rely on. We’ll cover the ultrasound machines, devices and sensors, which are essential for your therapy.

Professional Indemnity

Most ultrasound therapies are considered low risk when they are performed by a licensed person and provided that the transducer head is moving at all times. Our Professional Indemnity cover will protect you for any advice that you give to your patients in a professional capacity should they sue.

Employers' Liability

If you employ any members of staff it is your legal responsibility to take out Employers’ Liability. This will cover you for £10 million should a staff member sustain bodily injury, illness, disease or medically recognised psychiatric injury whilst working under your employment.

Personal Accident

Accidents at work can cause financial hardship, so by taking out our additional Personal Accident cover, you’re protected if an injury meant you were unable to work for a significant period of time. This includes loss of income as well as a range of other injuries.

Third Party Property Damage

This covers you against any non-negligent loss or damage to the property of others that you may cause during the period of providing treatments.
