Under the Business Equipment Cover we will cover for loss or damage to specialist business equipment purchased for and used in connection with the business.

However, we cannot cover for equipment which is stored in a vehicle overnight, it must be stored in a permanent building.

Under this policy we will only be able to provide cover for additional handlers if they are an employee of the business and you have employers’ liability cover included in your policy or if they would be covered under the close family extension of the policy.

If you employ any members of staff, regardless of whether they are paid or voluntary, Employers’ Liability is a legal requirement.

This can be added onto your policy at any time, however it can only be removed at renewal.
