Yes, this can be added to an existing policy as long as your event is more than 14 days away.

Yes – cancellation cover cannot be purchased for events happening within the next 14 days. Beyond that, once purchased, cover applies immediately unless otherwise stated in your policy wording.

You can choose to include non-appearance cover for key visitors, such as a guest of honour. This can provide cover if you have to cancel an event due to their illness, as per our terms. It won’t cover if performers or other suppliers providing entertainment cancel due to illness.

The policy can reimburse non-recoverable expenses associated with organising and promoting the event, as per our the terms. This includes costs such as venue hire, equipment, marketing, and potential revenue loss from ticket sales, sponsorships, and merchandising.
